I was given the opportunity to design their very first ocean plastic. Over 30 material variations were prototyped with the aim of&nbsp; connecting the user with this reclaimed plastic on a tactile level. Its sculpted, unified form is shaped for a comfortable hold between the adductor muscles and feels approachable for women from diverse backgrounds while supporting post-birth pelvic floor therapy. The design features six accelerometers that enable women and clinicians to train with real-time visual muscle activation through the corresponding app. Every detail is intended to support intuitive, habit-forming use. Built around a solar module this watch is powered by UV rays eliminating the need for problematic batteries. In addition more than ~70% of the plastic used is reclaimed. This design has been featured in publications like HypeBeast. The aim of this concept was to be lightweight, steezy, and simple. But even more so my goal was for it to be sustainable but not granola.
